Escape the Grind: Towbars for cars get Sydney families moving

Posted by Bob Newman on Oct 24, 2013 - 0 Comments

As summer rolls around again, it’s time to start thinking of summer holidays and how you and your family are going to fill those long days. Sure you can sit on the couch till a groove starts to form, or you can get out there and enjoy all that Sydney has to offer. If you’re going to get the most out of the outdoors, you’re going to want a towbar for your car.

Towbars Help Sydney Families Move

Don’t be stuck indoors this summer. Get out and explore!

The summer holidays really aren’t that far away now, so now’s the perfect time to start planning how to get yourself and your family outdoors. Here are five things you can do this summer, with the help of your trusty towbar for your car:

1. Bike Riding

Want a cheap and easy way to get the kids out and squeeze in some exercise for you? Get a bike rack and hook it up to your towbar and you can get all those bikes, and all those kids, down to a big local park, without the fuss. Make it a weekly thing – even turn it into a full day out with a picnic!

2. Taking the Boat Out

Summer’s the perfect time to head down to the beach or lake, and what better way to enjoy it than from the comfort of your own boat. Hitch it up to your car and you’re away.

3. Stay at a Caravan Park

Meet some new friends and explore a new town by getting your own caravan and trying out a caravan park.

4. Go Camping

Why not get away from the city, the crowds, and the TV by heading bush? You’ll want to spend at least a week out there to get the most of the experience, so hook up the trailer to carry all that extra gear, rather than shoving it all in the boot of the car.

5. Start a Farm

Got some extra land that you don’t know what to do with? Then start a hobby farm. Get a goat, a sheep, a miniature pony, a miniature pig, or even an alpaca. All these animals make great family pets, and you can easily bring your new pet home by renting a horse float – there’s plenty of places that’ll rent you a float for a day or weekend.
