The Viair Check Valve has 1/8 inch NPT female to 1/8 inch male fittings. 16mm outer diameter. Check Valves prevent backflow of air from the air tank to the compressor head. Use thread sealant for proper installation. Teflon tape is not recommended. Properly sealed, recommended torque is 12 to 15 ft. lbs.
